Today is #WorldSchizophreniaDay and I am thinking of all the Black folks I know living with schizophrenia and how it remains one of the most heavily stigmatized mental conditions in our communities. Even as Black mental health conversations have grown publicly, I see so few advocates uplifting folks living with schizophrenia or who have psychosis symptoms.
Our communities still have a-lot of fear, misconceptions and trauma around the condition
