A thread on the 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗺𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗵𝘁𝗶 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽, the new name of Gantz-Sa'ar-Eisenkot's party:

1/ The term “mamlachti” (adj.) is derived from the word “mamlacha” (kingdom) and eludes English equivalents. “Mamlachtiyut” (noun) was a neologism coined by David Ben-Gurion, 2/ ...to describe the challenge of bringing all the different factions of the Jewish population in Palestine under the rule of a unified Israeli government that will know how to wield sovereign power effectively and responsibly.
