Holy crap, habit/behavior change is hard. It’s like that one pothole in your neighborhood that always turns into a massive puddle every time it rains. Let me explain.
Because of its depth compared to the other parts of the road, potholes attract water. You can try to scoop up water and move it to another area but ultimately gravity does its thing.
