Many of the teenagers with autism whom Grossman works with experience what she calls “conversational breakdowns.” In 2014, Grossman showed 87 people videotapes of 9 children with a mild form of autism and 10 without, each speaking a few sentences. The observers didn’t know anything about the children, but it only took one second of tape — video or audio alone, or together — for them to realize there was something different about the children on the spectrum. Biggs testified in support of Randy Fine's House version of SB 254, which kept almost every trans adult from refilling our HRT (floridaban.com) Yet, when in court, SEGM's advisor agrees with principles Gender Analysis can easily endorse: We're trans because that is just who and what we are. Gender dysphoria is a real condition. Transitioning can be a helpful treatment. Autistic people can be trans. Trans women are women.
