Here's @GlennYoungkin's recipe for a closing message:
2 parts racism - classic racist tropes but subtle & that work with the overall campaign message
1 part transphobia - picked fresh from right-wing media swamp
And a dash of anti-Semitism, the George Soros brand works the best
Youngkin put out two ads over the last two days that employ some of the most dangerous racist ideas to stimulate additional fears around schools in the hopes it will be a last min. boost to secure political power so he can try to reck the state for most Virginians as Gov.

3 years ago today a mass murder killed 11 in an anti-Semitic attack in PA motivated by a racist fiction that non-whites were "invading" the US with the help of Jewish organizations.
Today sitting elected Republican MoC echo that same racist lie of "migrant invasion"
This same "invasion" rhetoric was used by mass murder in Rep. Gooden's home state of Texas not long after the murders in PA.
Despite this fresh association with racist mass violence, many elected Republicans have parroted the white nationalist ideas of replacement and invasion

White woman does a political stunt to protect the legacy of white supremacy in schools nearly a decade ago claiming her 19-year old son in AP English couldn't handle reading Toni Morrison.
That man then goes to work for the NRCC which spends millions of dollars every year to amplify racist and xenophobic fictions that do the work of reinforcing racism throughout our society perpetuating systemic racism, implicate bias, and racist malice.

Today third-ranking House Republican, Elise Stefanik, dropped more Facebook ads. Some that warn of a coming "intersection" that will "overthrow our current electorate."
The perpetrators?
New, mostly non-white, citizens of the United States.
Stefanik warns that Democrats widely popular proposal (70% +, including majorities of registered Rs) to provide pathways to citizenship to our undocumented neighbors - most of whom have lived in the US for over a decade - would cause a "PERMANENT ELECTION INSURRECTION"

First: GOP leaders played down the dangers of the pandemic.
Next: They used xenophobia to try to divert attention from their failure
Then: They spread vaccine misinformation
Now: As cases rise they look again to xenophobia to try to divert attention from their failure
COVID cases are surging in TX & FL, GOP Govs Abbott & DeSantis are failing to protect their citizens but look to hype the dangerous nativist trope of immigrants as public health threats. washingtonpost.com/politics/2021/…

Two years ago today a white nationalist committed an act of domestic terrorism, murdering 23 people in El Paso, Texas motivated in his own words by the dehumanizing rhetoric of a migrant "invasion"...
Today Republicans continue to use the language believing it benefits them.
“They know full well that their xenophobic racist rhetoric feeds hatred, and they know full well that that hatred fuels violence. And who are the victims of the violence? It is, we have seen in Texas, vulnerable communities like ours,” - @RepEscobarelpasomatters.org/2021/08/02/2-y…

First, the xenophobic Tanton network of FAIR and NumbersUSA drum up nativist fears against immigrant workers who help keep us healthy and fed. See 👇 Tweets from March 26. Using coronavirus as a screen for their long-held xenophobic dreams.
Then, yesterday, April 1, Trump uses his coronavirus press briefing to deploy the same xenophobic blame game saying " It's a tough thing...they came in illegally. We have a lot of people who are citizens of our country who won't be able to get jobs."
