After I quoted @AntheaButler in my story about purity culture and racism in the context of the ATL shooting, I bought her new book "White Evangelical Racism." I've been reading it over the last few days. It's incredible to me how so many conservatives have said that want to "keep politics out of church" yet evangelical leaders have been politickin' in the name of Jesus for decades and decades. Some of the results of that have caused harm and fueled discrimination.

If you don’t want to declare a party and only want to vote on #Amendment1, YOU CAN! When you sign in to vote, the poll worker scans your ID, which brings up a screen requiring you to select a party. If you only want to vote on Amendment 1, you have to vote with a provisional ballot.
