So my brother was looking for shells and he was scared of one. He showed me and I followed him along to humor him and I genuinely do not know what this is, it is creepy. Anyone know what this could possibly be? I live by Tampa on the East Coast and haven’t seen this before.

Well I think it’s just some random thing called an isopod. We were gonna get closer pics of it but then it got carried away and eaten by one of these guys. Ah well ig. It’s fine but that was definitely strange.

Our dog has been barking and scratching up our back door every night. He has been doing this for days so I sat with him last night to find the issue. I snapped a flash pic of the backdoor when he barked and captured this. Be VERY careful outside because this does NOT look normal! additionally whatever it was fled after I photographed it. We haven’t seen the animal since then. I live in the Chicagoland suburbs so that’s where you should beware of this thing. Nobody can identify it and my family and I are frankly afraid to go outside now. Look out!
