🧵Happy #TerryDay! Three years ago, a career bureaucrat @TerryAdirimMD, the acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, countermanded SecDef's Covid-19 vaccine mandate & federal law by legally equating an EUA product as fully FDA approved (BLA-licensed).

defense.gov/About/Biograph… 2/ Her one-page memo allowed the DoD to push an EUA product on service members (SMs) without pursuing a written waiver from POTUS per DoDI 6200.02, or giving informed consent of risks & allowing refusal of EUA products as per 21 USC 360bbb-3.

All based on an FDA Q&A website. Image

1/ In our TLDR world, it's unsurprising that a document signed by 231 service members (SMs) would be taken out of context with some calling it mutiny. The reality is the DoD has lost sight that their volunteers are US Citizens with Constitutional rights.

The signatories of the original document & those who signing , instead of pursing mutiny, all have a deep love of country and a desire for the DoD & its leaders to live the institution's claimed ideals and to pursue ethical & legal action versus expediency.militaryaccountability.com

In light of @SecDef's rescission of the DoD Covid-19 shot mandate yesterday to comply with Congressional direction in the 2023 NDAA, I wanted to review the facts of what happened over the past year and a half.

media.defense.gov/2023/Jan/10/20…

//Thread// 2/ In early August of 2021, @SecDef DoD signaled that they would be mandating the C19 shot upon FDA approval (aka BLA licensure) or NLT mid-September with a presidential waiver for the Emergency Use Authorized (EUA) shots.
