🧵The reason some folks accuse those who rightfully say Israel’s rule over Palestinians is apartheid of antisemitism is because they have no real argument to rebut it. So the hasbarists try to de-legitimize both the speaker and the charge of apartheid. 1/9 But notice they only do it when *some* people use the A word, and not when others do. They didn’t do it recently when the 1,000 scholars (mostly Jewish and many if not most Israeli) put out their piece. They won’t do it response to Gen. (Ret.) Levin’s statement today. 2/9

There should be new rounds of condemnations after Israel forced Rashida Tlaib, a US Congresswoman, to submit a plea on ‘humanitarian grounds’ and surrender her right to free expression in order to see her grandmother. 1 The disgraceful conduct of the Israeli government highlights a couple things.
