How to tell if you're an antisemite. If your TL is full of tweets like - Starmer was bought and paid for by Israel Then, yes, you're probably an antisemite.

So, I attended part of this so-called pro-Palestine march today, I'm still processing what I've seen because I'm frantically trying to assess the danger it poses.
On the question of whether this is good or bad for the Jews (as my dad would say) - it is most definitely bad. I saw queers for Palestine marching shoulder to shoulder with Islamo-facists. Whole families, with babies in strollers, gently calling for the eradication of Israel. Most signs prepared by SWP, Friends of Al Aqsa and similar. Many home made signs, some which were antisemitic.

I feel the need to respond to the untruths in the video, because Mendick and Lerman are influential voices within the Jewish left-wing socialist spaces and are taken seriously by hard-left. So I will be taking apart the claims one by one here: 1) It is disingenuously to talk about the "redefinition of antisemitism". It is not that antisemitism has been redefined to suite the "zionists", but rather the def. has had to catch up with with how antisemitism has evolved.

My milieu used to be the art world. I have since been effectively booted out as a "Zionist". This is a rant about a prominent writer in the art world who has just called me a supporter of "ethnic nationalism".
This is an incredibly depressing predicament to be in It is also a lonely predicament, and I know very few people in the art world these days who could probably identify with me in this situation. The only two who come to mind, whom I can pathetically appeal to for sympathy are @JudithOrnstein and

Just finished reading "Contemporary Left Antisemitism", by David Hirsh.

It is both depressing, distressing and upsetting. It is also a pretty dense text which requires a close reading, a skill that has become rusty since my academic days. If you want to digest this text properly, put aside your skim-reading habits acquired on Twitter and be prepared to have to re-read certain paragraphs several times in order to understand them properly.

Since it is Yom Ha'shoa, and I'm not living in Israel to hear the siren, I want to showcase excerpts from a book my uncle wrote, based on letters he found in a suitcase, after his mother passed away, documenting his fathers escape. The letters he found were an exchange (in german) between my grandfather, who had managed to exit the Reich in 1938 (at the age of 28), and his mother who was stuck there, and also his sister and niece who had fled Romania.

1/ @GnasherJew were one of the first accounts to expose the antisemitic rot permeating Labour party.

Thanks to these shots these Labour members/activists & officials were exposed as antisemites.

#ReinstateGnasherJew ImageImage 2/ I remember when I first started seeing these posts, the awful creeping realisation that I was seeing was hardcore antisemitism from Labour members, activists *and* officials

On my first encounter with some of these, my hands were shaking and my heart pounding ImageImageImage

UK's president of the National Union of Students!!

"I just want to start by declaring solidarity with siblings in Palestine who have historically decades upon decades have continued to bear the brunt of a racist system of apartheid" At the same meeting we have Omar Barghouti stating that Israel enacts a form of "Zionist supremacism" which provides a model state for "white supremacists".

I've had a massive (and destructive) argument with a friend over whether this is antisemitism. I see a lot of people have trouble understanding this. So let me try to explain: What you see here is not a criticism of Israel or Zionism. I can pretty much guarantee that Ed has little idea what Zionism is, or what goes on in Israel. Or, for that matter even, what Judaism is (not to mention it's long relationship with Zionism)

1/ It's that time of year again, and Banksy's simplistic, shallow but evocative political art work of Joseph and Miriam being confronted by a giant concrete wall and watchtower. 2/ The image juxtaposes of the mythological image of Yosef trying to reach Bethlehem - called forth by the xmas star (which is on the other side - unreachable). The harshness of a ten-foot concrete barrier is contrasted with idillic pastoral image of local shepherds.

On the "moderate" Labour Party Forum, someone posts the question:

"Why is Labour so heave on faux antisemitism but so light on real Islamophobia?"

Here are some of the answers: "Faux anti-semitism is the work of non-socialists"

This pretty much mirrors what's been happening in Stamford Hill (the "Bnei Brak" of London)
Sorry, this makes for very grim reading.

I've been looking at areas where there are conceptual similarities between David Icke's writings and Mein Kampf. In some cases I think you'll find it hard to say who said what. Some examples follow: "How far the entire existence of this people is based on a continuous lie is shown in an incomparable manner and certainty in the 'Protocols of the Wise Men of Zion" - Adolf Hitler
