I’ve been interviewing people on the street of NYC about the mayor’s race and here’s what I’ve observed:
1) Most people don’t want to talk to me or they’re not following the race. Keep in mind that only 26% of eligible voters voted in the last mayoral primary. 2) I have interviewed people in: Washington Square Park, Harlem, Crown Heights, and the UWS (not a perfect sample but trying to visit diff areas). Most eager voters who planned to vote told me they were voting for Zohran Mamdani
