The narrative on Balochistan reeks so much of India that it’s even funny.
Same words, terms, and even very similar narrative builders (paid gora rags) that were used pre 71 in 60s.
“Marginalised Community” “Missing Persons” and questioning the Balochistan becoming part 👇🏼 Image

… of Pakistan in 1947.
If you go back to 60s you will see the same narrative in Indian or their sponsored Gora rags .. They sponsored Mukti Bahni directly then because it surrounded EPak from 3 sides and now using Afghanistan to fund/equip BLA.
BBC then and BBC now is a 👇🏼 Image

1 - National Security
Parliamentary committee meeting on National Security (NS) is planned for tomorrow and Military & Intelligence institutions leadership will brief parliamentarians on current situation and recommend way forward. What can Pakistan do to Counter Terrorism ? 👇🏼 2- Nat Sec 🇵🇰
We can debate the reasons why this terrorist activity has gained momentum and incidents are on the rise past one year or so. But I won’t go into political blame game but rather look at it only as a Security analyst and recommend what imo can be done to first 👇🏼

1/ Some thoughts on the complexity of terrorism and it’s perceived facilitators.
Someone shared a video of some gunmen in Baloch dress holding BLA flags getting on motorbikes with a few local men standing around and saying goodbye to these gunmen. The person who shared 👇🏼 2/… impliesd that BLA has local support. I had seen the video before and yes it seems to be directed for exactly this purpose .. to show that Baloch Pakistanis support these terrorists.
For a minute place yourself in a town in Balochistan or in west KP … where these gunmen 👇🏼 Image

Balochistan 🇵🇰 My Take
We disagree with BLA, it is a foreign sponsored terrorist proxy, and we can say it does not represent Pakistanis of Balochistan province:
We condemn BLA, it’s facilitators as criminals who should be punished for their acts of terrorism. Image But we have to acknowledge that the grievances of the Pakistanis in Baluchistan which have contributed to prolonged violence are multifaceted and deeply rooted in historical, economic, political, and social issues. And we have to accept that these grievances 👇🏼 Image

Pakistan is everyone. Pakistan is Pushtun, Punjabi, Kashmiri, Sindhi, Balti, Gilgiti, and Pakistan is very much Baloch.

Every Pakistani has equal right over Pakistan and every Pakistani is equal in Pakistan’s eyes. If a group of Pakistanis 👇🏼 Image

Long Thread/🇵🇰
Years ago, my daughter & my son were in primary school, one day I got late to pick them up due to a official commitment and when I reached School I saw them both sitting on the pavement outside the main gate with School chowkidar sitting on a chair near them… 👇🏼 2/🇵🇰
.. when I got down from the car and approached them my son who was 7 yrs old came at me like a tiger, started hitting & slapping me, I was in uniform.
I had two options, to hold him bk and teach him a lesson for hitting his father OR understand his frustration & anger 👇🏼

🧵/1
I have deliberated on one question many times this year “Why they don’t accept @ImranKhanPTI” and by “they” I mean the “Usurper Mindset”.
although I have explained it a few times but let’s see what is a Usurper Mindset and if there are examples of it ..👇🏼 🧵/2 A Usurper is someone who believes that power wealth fame and even divinity is only their right, they believe in Dynastic transfer of everything from power over people to spirituality… They & their Kin deserve everything, law is below them ..They are above everyone.

1/Yesterday I was talking to someone who told me that the Army flood relief pts in Isd are not getting a response they used to previously.
Worst floods in Pakistan then ever before & the most organised, well spread institution.. 👇🏼🧵 2/.. an org well equipped to help the ppl is not getting a good response from ppl ?
Why ? Yes maybe it is the ousting of IK govt and perception that the decision makers of the institution did not play a role to check that.. but I think it’s more than that, my view is ..👇🏼🧵

/🧵 PPP & Asif Zardari
PPP was founded in Nov 67 & within 3 years it emerged as the largest single Party in atleast west Pak. in 1970 & later formed govt in Pakistan 4 times incl 70, 77,88,93 & 2008.
The first 4 times were under ZAB & BB, however in 2008 under AAZ. 2/🧵PPP & AAZ
From 67 to 77 under ZAB the party grew, & even later under BB in 90s it was either largest or the 2nd largest majority Party.
The 2008 win is also attributed to public sentiments after BB assassination and not really to leadership of AAZ.
2008 onwards it shrunk.
