When I see ppl post 'holiday abroad' pics it amazes me. It's weird how a thing that feels like an achievement to some is a regular activity to others.
Last yr I got the opportunity to go to Nepal & this yr to Bangkok, making me the 1st prsn ever in my entire family to go abroad.
When my parents found out I was going on an "all-paid work trip" abroad they couldn't believe it. My father msgd & called all my relatives to tell them what has happened & I received dozens of msgs from them! For days!!!

"How's it like to live with social anxiety?" It's like being punched in the gut by an invisible force at random situations. Not fun for sure! Social anxiety isn't nervousness, it's not cute, & no I can't get over it by just practicing or by putting myself "out there" often. (1/n)
The first instance that I can remember was when I wanted to participate in my school's singing competition. I practiced, practiced & practiced. I was so excited! I remember the song - "Satyam Shivam Sundaram." I was in class 4th.

I have been meaning to answer this for so long but I keep forgetting. #Naruto is a series that has taught me most of my life lessons. You can not only draw an analogy with the casteist structure of society, but also the current religious and political environment in India.
Jinchurikis were always ostracised from the society for the way they were born (having the tailed beasts sealed within them). No talking, no touching, always looked down upon.
With so many barriers, they always had to work harder than others to "prove themselves."
