THREAD: HK's Independent Police Complaints Council released their report today on the anti-ELAB protests. Their description on Sept. 29 of the incident involving Indonesian journalist Veby Indah, who was shot in her eye while covering the protests, is inaccurate. @gzmimi & I were direct eyewitnesses of the entire incident, as we were only a few meters from Veby. The report claims (pg. 115) police at the time were "taking action to disperse the protesters on the footbridge" in Wan Chai & "had asked everyone including reporters to leave."
