I’ve been working a small job as a GP receptionist recently & it is the most difficult & demanding job that I’ve ever worked… & I’ve worked in the media/politics.

The one thing that’s ultimately very clear is that govt underfunding is having a massive impact on primary care. A lot of people seem to have negative views of GP receptionists but it’s so draining. Only having four clinics a day to tens of thousands of patients is no way to offer healthcare to the public.

& we’re the ones who receive the abuse, not the government.
