My column in today’s paper: “Oklahoma is leading the charge in a Handmaid’s Tale-style assault on women’s health care.” (1/5) oklahoman.com/story/opinion/… This year’s newly eligible 18-year-old voters were born more than three decades after the United States Supreme Court decided Roe v. Wade. Now, while exercising their protected voting rights under our Constitution, another protected right may soon be stripped away (2/5)

Remember when @JimInhofe talked about employees in the Murrah bldg & how they were playing hooky- he’s attacking workers again
"Furloughed workers won’t come back to work b/c they’re enjoying their federal unemployment benefits"

Anyone you know enjoy being out of work?

He knows he’s full of it and still says it:

“Look, I know there are people shaking their heads right now at the comments I just made, because they’re thinking, ‘if Inhofe only knew how we’re hurting right now…I do know, because we’ve talked to people.”

Really?

I saw this yesterday - there are few words that can describe how disrespectful this tweet is for families in rural Oklahoma, and rural America. To think that families are legitimately scared right now and your only words of comfort are, "look at us, aren't we the best!" Image Jim obviously has no idea what rural families are facing. All of the staff written tweets in the world won't save him from the reality that he's been in the Senate for an entire generation and nothing has changed. Here are some facts from our friends at @_OneCountry_

Just my thoughts as to what we need from a new stimulus: I’m tired of waiting on Inhofe to get his act together, Oklahomans need help now. We need a Marshall type plan for healthcare; billions for hospitals, community hospitals and nursing homes + money to pay for COVID testing. -Our small businesses need help: if you have under 500 employees, we need to help your business and your furloughed employees come back strong.
-SNAP needs a strong investment -We need a large package for seniors & child care as well + transportation & housing - come on.
