The Macpherson principle does NOT imply that we should survey groups to determine if X, Y, or Z is racist against that group. Rather, it says authorities should tend to believe members of a group when they perceive racism, and investigate accordingly. The difference is especially acute viz. antisemitism because Jews do not experience antisemitism equally. Antisemitic street violence targets Jews with outward symbols of Jewishness. Threats against synagogues, day schools, and JCCs affect those who attend them.

Excuse me, but Jews were an oppressed minority in the Muslim world for 1,300 years before the establishment of the State of Israel. For the millennia after the loss of Jewish sovereignty, Jewish politics were the politics of dependency and Jewish security was characterized by precarity. Zionism sought an end to dependency and precarity. Independence and security would be won by the restoration of Jewish sovereignty.
