@_Bellscoin posted an updated estimate of the distribution of $BEL coin.
How many years will it take for all coins to be mined?
I guarantee you're not going to believe the answer 👇
Crypto YouTuber @kyle_chasse did a fun segment on BELLS. I chopped the clip here. Well worth a view.
Thanks for the shoutout Kyle 🙏

Before Dogecoin, its founder - @BillyM2k - had another project.
A coin and its blockchain abandoned since 2014.
Until now 🧵⤵️
Last week, on December 5th, it was Dogecoin's 10th birthday and my friend @capag777 saw Billy's old post from 2013 and reached out to me.

🚨You don't "own" your @X username 🚨
Last week, this post blew up because it highlighted a terrifying part of social media platforms - their ability to remove your usernames at will.
How can you protect yourself?
👇
1/11
This shocked many users as they falsely believed they would be due some compensation if their username was taken from them. Kind of like eminent domain, but for usernames.
Unfortunately, the terms and conditions for the platforms enable them to remove usernames at will.

Ethscriptions may be the fastest adoption of a protocol ever.
If you don't know what Ethscriptions are, I got you 🧵👇
1/9
Ethscriptions are on-chain NFTs created by @dumbnamenumbers who's passionate about making Ethereum less expensive and easier for the average user.
How inexpensive?
The average Ethscription costs less than $1 to inscribe.💰

😈What are Cursed Ordinals, and why should you care?
I've got the question enough that I figured it was time for a quick thread. 45-second read.

Why should you care?
If you believe that Ordinals will impact Bitcoin and the world, Cursed Ordinals represent a very interesting part of Ordinal's history when the protocol was new and changing.

How-to mint a SRC-20 🎯
The Bitcoin Stamps Telegram group is taking off, so I am making a quick thread to ensure you get the SRC-20 you want.
👇
This is the indexer where you can check the minting progress for each SRC-20
My recommendation would be NOT to mint any that are getting close to 100% minted because there's a good chance they will mint out before your order finalizes.
I've been pinged enough that it's time for a quick thread to get into the details.
High level: Bitcoin Stamps are the most permanent NFTs in the world🌎
The details 👇
Stamps are a protocol created by @mikeinspace, which stores NFTs directly on Bitcoin.
Stamps have two key features: 1. Unprunable - Stamps are very difficult to remove from Bitcoin 2. Stamps can be issued 1 of 1's OR 1 of many (i.e. a series)

I have a friend visiting and he brought a @Ledger with him to have me help him set it up.
Here’s the story of how he got hacked for $30,000 during the process and the very painful lessons learned - so you don’t make the same mistakes.
Earlier today we got to work…
setting up the Ledger. The process went smoothly and he took much of his crypto off of one exchange and onto his Ledger, without issue.
Next he said that he wanted to pull Bitcoin and a few other tokens off of another exchange but that he was having trouble logging into…

🚨 Ordinals UPDATE 🚨
@EmblemVault now has Taproot native wallet support within each vault, so sending and receiving Ordinals is now easy.
Here's an easy how-to 👇 including receiving with both the @SparrowWallet and @xverseApp wallets.
1/23
Sending an Ordinal to an Emblem Vault.
First, you will need to create the vault.
If this is your first time, you can follow the steps here.
Sales of Ordinals are starting to take off on Opensea using Emblem Vault, so I wanted to make a quick thread to ensure you get the Ordinal you pay for.
👇
1/11
Step 1
Find the Ordinal inscription of the one you want to purchase on the Ordinals website.
Ordinals are now selling on Opensea using @EmblemVault 🚀
Before buying, here's some info to keep you safe.
👇
Ordinals are the brainchild of @rodarmor and enable users to inscribe data directly onto a sat (satoshi) on Bitcoin. Creating an on-chain NFT.
Currently, you MUST use the wallet developed by @rodarmor to ensure that when you send the Ordinal, it doesn't accidentally get lost.

The Ethereum merge is only 10 days away.
Here are the TOP 5 things you need to know if you hold NFTs ✅
Spoiler - You probably already know #1, but there's still a > 0 chance the opposite happens. So be careful.
Here's a 🧵thread explaining why & gives you a simple solution to keep your NFTs safe. 1/8
The merge is scheduled for around September 15, so you have plenty of time to create a game plan.
Doing nothing is NOT a plan, and your NFTs may still be at risk if you fail to take action. 2/8
A little historical thread on Punycode NFTs🧵which were recently rediscovered by @Devotedwear and @n11stic
These are REALLY interesting, and OLD 🤯 so lest go👇 1/6 2/6 Age - The first Punycodes were created in 2011 on the Namecoin blockchain (the same chain as the Twitter Eggs).
With only 85 created in 2011 (see chart for numbers by year)🔥

The hype train has started to DM me to ask about CryptoCrystals - @_cryptocrystal
Is it historically significant?
Well, it is from May 2018, but by that time there were already lots of similar projects. And other than maybe being..
👇
the first 'Crystals on Ethereum' - which doesn't seem that great - I don't see much unique value in the project.
I do believe that the devs had the intention to turn the project into some sort of game where you could merge crystals together..

Enough people have asked me my NFT investing strategy, so here it is.
1/7
👆🏼
Sell when people are euphoric. 🤩
This is the single hardest thing to learn how to do. Because missing out on additional gains will have you terrified of selling.
Plus everyone in Discord will be telling you to hold.
