Having thought about it since Thursday...Biden threw the debate deliberately.

Think about it as I lay out my reasoning. 1. When does Biden need to actually nail a debate?

When non-political junkies and the media are paying attention.

Is that before or after Labor Day? After. Because most voters are busy with vacations, kids at home, escaping the heat and aren't part attention.

It's easy.

Dems are perceived as Mom while Reps are Dad.

Moms are expected to maintain a household, take care of all children, do so on whatever budget they can scrape together, and be endlessly forgiving towards their abusers. Dads have zero expectations of doing *anything* right, are permitted to be abusive, can spend money on whatever they want, and walk away leaving Moms to clean up the disaster.
They also get lavish praise for doing anything marginally useful or positive.

I just ran across this on Facebook.

Starts out normal(ish). And then...this:

It's going to be an interesting day when Democrats finally say "fuck it, stop working with Republicans because they aren't worth it."

I'm there already. Republicans can join if they want but they aren't worth engaging with since they operate in bad faith 100% of the time. Example:

Kevin Drum wrote a stupid article (not linking to it because oh my glob is it bad) but this was particularly egregious: He starts out reasonable and then careens right into a damn brick wall.

Yes, they are loathsome acts of desperation.

BUT THEY ARE STILL WRONG AND JUST BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE JUMPING THROUGH THE HOOPS MADE DOESN'T MAKE IT OKAY.

I have done numbers porn on the early votes. I am a terrible person.

Who wants to see? Caveats: I did not add the 10% voters to the opponent’s total. Mostly because I forgot to at the start so never bothered to update. I admit, I am somewhat lazy.
Further, I did not bother to check any state reg numbers or when it started.

Few people in the media talk about this by the way.

The Republicans for 4 Democratic presidential terms abused their investigatory power against the Democratic presidents for purely partisan gain. And the media yelled at the Dems anytime they pointed this out. The media's nonstop treatment of Republican behavior as legitimate and Democratic behavior as not is really weird considering how often Republicans are caught breaking the law.

In December 1992, the Washington Post (the one that always gets better scoops than the NYTimes even if the NYTimes does a better job at laying out the facts) published a story about a powerful junior Senator who was touching women wrong. This Senator was also known as a stanch ally to the women. He spearheaded major feminist priorities. He also voted against Clarence Thomas. Dianne Feinstein even supported him!

Let's talk about how a certain Senator's, who is grasping at relevance, fanboys react to a Black woman pointing out she has the receipts.

Because they put her in danger today. Senator Sanders has long been known to have not simply rabid fans but violent ones.
From an attack on Representative Jim McDermott for the mere fact he supported Clinton over Sanders: q13fox-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/q13fox.com…

*logs on to discuss the incredibly asinine appellate brief by Cheato's lawyers*

Oooh boy, this was bad. I mean it was so bad I had to wash my computer to clean the stank. Let's get started! First off, the Constitution gives Congress super duper broad powers to do whatever the fuck they want as long as there is some kind of legislative purpose that could result from this.

Including checking if the President committed crimes.

It started in 1964 with Barry Goldwater's massive loss to LBJ. LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and still won in a landslide. But he knew he was giving an opening to the Republicans.

Who looked at 1966 results in reaction to the CRA and thought "hmm."

She was dragged seven ways to Sunday for noting honestly that her and Bill were broke when they moved out of the White House.

They had money *coming* but her Senate salary didn't kick in for several weeks after 1/3/01 and Bill's advance was swallowed by their debt. Bill had a post-presidency package (including personal email servers.) It had a pension based on the $200K He got as President.

Then let's get ready.

For those who have areas where they refuse to update any of the equipment, put together a team to fundraise to have portapotties near the lines. Also have sufficient funds on hand to pay for water and snacks for people in line so anyone who is diabetic or has other medical issues is able to snack as needed.

I am going to block anyone who brings up the long debunked claim that Clinton lost because she did not go to Wisconsin. It's an excuse to not critically think or engage in why the 2016 election turned out the way it did. By now, you should know that Russ Feingold who DID campaign in Wisconsin for months lost by a bigger margin than she did. You should know that racism played a huge part in 2016 because Cheato said the quiet parts out loud.

If we are going to simply make up nonsense about candidates, Bernie Sanders is a multimillionaire who took the money his campaign raised and paid his wife so he could hide most of it.

Oh wait, that's true. Bernie Sanders is a man who has been on both sides of the marriage equality issue and only has portraits of black women on his office walls as a way to seem like he cares about Black women.

No wait, that's true.

You are, if I was to be kind, a day late and a dollar short.

You eagerly and happily used their disinformation campaign because your ego couldn't take losing to a woman, again. I don't want to be kind.

Not ONLY is your ego so big you couldn't stand losing to a woman (for a third time), you also have zero qualms about cheating.

Let's talk about Kamala Harris and her being a prosecutor and how that will be amazing for the 2020 race. Many elections are about contrasts. You compare and contrast the candidates and their employment history to see if you think they would be a good fit.

Lemme explain for the people in the back. 1. Bernie Sanders voted for crime bill he happily used to bash the fuck out of the person who had zero say in it from it's writing to voting for it.

Tell me more about how it was "Clinton didn't go to Wisconsin" Interesting fact: Wisconsin, Pennsylvsnia, and Michigan all had stricter voter suppression laws in place with Michigan attempting after the 2016 election to be even more restrictive.
