Recently, Big Basket- the online grocery store, available in numerous cities in India, served a cease and desist notice upon another online grocery store called ‘Dailybasket.com’, which has its services limited to Coimbatore alleging that Dailybasket’s use of the word ‘basket’ infringes upon Big Basket’s trademark and is capable of confusing the public into believing that there is some association between the two brands.

It involves the registration of trademarks and trade names as domain names by third parties, who do not possess rights in such names. The motive behind the adoption shall be trading on the reputation and goodwill of such third parties by either confusing customers

In his tweets he has taken grounds of delay (of 5 years) in reporting this case.
Be that as it may few things to consider:

1. Tweets are not your defense (though can be offensive) 2. His actual conduct will be considered by the court of law (should a case gets filed)
3. Conduct against other females may be good but the direct allegations against him in this incident will weigh in court
4. Grounds of delay isn't a very robust legal defense here
