Dear 'The People',
It is 23:00 GMT on 29th March 2019 and the UK is still a full member of the European Union.
Don't worry, you still live in a democracy. It is however a heavily bruised version of democracy that is not well suited to handling the issue presented to it. HM's Government has been unable to achieve its objective of delivering an orderly exit from the EU despite this being the 'Will of the People'.
