CUTE LORE TIME! ❤️ Let's talk, in detail, about how Eri and Kal's relationship developed over time, from friends to lovers, through shared trauma, to infinity and beyond.

Steere brought (wounded and severely traumatised) Kal home from the fire and left him alone with Eri to finish fighting the blaze. It was late, but everything that was happening meant Eri couldn't sleep. So they bonded.

It's corny, but I think the key to All of this (I said it already) is that the audience WILL know what you feel. They will sense if u sat there drawing like it's a chore, and they'll feel it if you were cackling with glee while drawing. It's why I say my Nr1 art tip is Fun. Never underestimate the quasi mirror empathy art can instill regardless of technical skill. Practice & study improves skill. How much u practice depends on personal enjoyment and external validation. In my experience enjoyment and validation are linked (Not always 1:1 but still)

I agree! In my experience, it's possible, but it requires one's Whole heart. Never underestimate others' ability to sense one's underlying emotions, pos or neg. The key, for me, is fearlessness. Self indulgence is others' indulgence. Go all out and the fun will be infectious <3 & just like Tabuley mentions later, it requires commitment and patience. Since people don't already know your OCs, they’ll need time to get to know them and to warm up to them. Give them the lore, the silly doodles, the everyday tidbits, the memes. It's like meeting new friends.
