A friend shared a story, so I decided to put it here!
When Sola was in SS3, his teacher always yelled at him, calling him "a waste of conception, time & space and a sure failure in life".
One day, poor Sola's grand mother came to school to check out how her grandson was doing.
The teacher told her quite frankly that she had never seen such a dumb boy all her life; and advised her to withdraw and enroll him under an artisan, because formal schooling for Sola would be a total waste of time and money.

I boarded a bus last week to go get a few things from the market, and an interesting conversation broke out on the bus. I overheard a passenger telling another passenger a story of how a dead father recently recommended his son for a job & helped him get the job.
I wondered how a dead man could help his living son to secure a job. It just didn't make sense.
I'm not someone who believes such stories easily, but from the way he sounded, I could tell he meant every word he was saying.

Its always advisable to know the driver and the Aunty attached to the school bus that pick your kids to school. Have their phone contacts and ensure you communicate with the school regularly.
This is the gist.
Few months back a family shared their story regarding a botched attempt to kidnap their children. According to them, after the kids where all dressed and ready for school, one of them messed up his uniform. He had to be cleaned and redressed.

One of my boss shared a story and I decided to share it here too.
Meeting an *old class mate,* we had not seen each other for about *30 years. The Lord has been kind to me.
When I saw him again, this time at a hotel lobby, *he was looking simple.* He wore simple clothes.
I felt touched.
He walked up to me and was glad to see me again. But deep within me I was not impressed with his status compared to mine and poor me, I couldn't hide it.
We exchanged contact details and I could see the joy in him as he collected mine.

I have a story but then I will like to see how smart we think we are.
A house consisting of 12 flats or should I say 12 apartments with the occupants of each apartment owning 2 or more cars.
This is the gist.
One of the occupants cars was the last car parked.
You know those type of apartments that require another vehicle owner to take out his car before you can drive out.
On this very day, this guy was the owner of the last car parked in the compound. Automatically, it means he has to take his car out before others could drive out.

Lately I see people tend to celebrate arrogancy, they’re making it seems like he or she got class or have some high level of self esteem! My dear, it’s all lies!
Now let me gist you!
Humility does not imply low self-esteem.
When someone is humble, they are capable of great things but let other people shine in them instead. Low self esteem on the other hand is not believing you are capable of great things, and letting other people do them because you think they'll do it better, no matter what.

Sometimes I know it’s easy for me to sit here and draft few words about living a coordinated life or putting positive words together and make it all sound so simple. My people It’s not!
Believe me fam, as we grow older the world seems to be a crazy one, we lose our sense of trust in the world.
We become aware of social injustice, corruption, lies, prejudice.

When I heard that, I was like "wow"! I had to move close to him while he was still talking to the CRO.After his Complaints and all.

Few steps to take after a robbery/ armed robbery!
Trust me if these few steps are being followed it will help Police Officers in arresting the culprit, and more importantly, in protecting affected victims from more harm.
1. To start with! Don’t act like James Bond! Feeling like you could chase robbers! Just relax your mind and be calm!
I repeat!! Do not chase the robber. The robber may shoot at any pursuers or the police may shoot at you, too, thinking you are the robber.

It’s was 2013 in Apapa. I was still young and naive about the job. It was one of the craziest things that has ever happened to me in my line of duty. Sometimes things are meant to happen because God wants you to learn from them and as well be reminded that He exists.
It was one of those rainy days in Apapa with heavy traffic & busy environment,I saw this young chap handcuffed and looked all worn-out. For me,I always try to help regardless of what your offense must have been. So I told the Sergeant whom the suspect was with to kindly feed him!

To continue from my SURETY gist!
… SURETY do have RIGHT in a BAIL agreement.
1. A surety can at anytime request that he no longer desires to act as surety to an accused person on bail.
This right is contained under section 177 of the ACJA which provides that at any time within the duration of the case, a surety may request that he be discharged from the bail bond and after which the court will order for the re-arrest of the accused.
