Sinaitic Arabic Manuscript 597 contains an Arabic chronicle that was erroneously described by Murad Kamil in his catalogue of the manuscripts of Mount Sinai. The chronicles ends in 693 not in Fatimid times. Image

The first time in which the Druzes and the Christians of Mount Lebanon fought each other was in 26 April 1832. Before that, no such event happened. This discord was caused by the machination of Muhammad Pasha vali of Aleppo, trying to oppose the advancement of Ibrahim Pasha.
