You’re allowed to acknowledge you oppose a social system you were born into and greatly benefit from. So, obviously it’s important to people who’ve lived in MTL long before I have, and longer than any of the people who’ve recently visited, not to put this city on a pedestal when things are absolutely declining as far as tenant rights and cost of living, this needs to be stated. / However, while like any major city, Montreal does have its problems, and those problems are getting worse and more complex, it’s extremely less stressful to live here than it was to live in Toronto.
