I live in Alabama, a state with a total abortion ban, and was so overjoyed when I found out I was pregnant last month. I’ve been doing everything right. Stopped caffeine, took my prenatal vitamins, followed every rec. But I started bleeding on Tuesday.🧵 My partner and I went in for an emergency ultrasound on Wednesday and received the news we were dreading. My pregnancy wasn’t viable. There was a sac, but no fetal tissue, no heartbeat, no chance of having a baby this time around. The cells weren’t healthy and can’t be.
