Let's look at the armour of Indian army.
- Currently mainstay of IA armour is T90 bhishma. IA operates 1200+ units of these tanks.
- Tanks soon will be upgraded to carry APS.
- They will get new APFSDS with DoP of 600-800 MM. Eventually entire fleet of T90 Bhishma will be upgraded to near T90 MS standard.
- Many believe IA operates (Ordered) T90 MS already.
- However last order was for Bhishma not MS. IA will upgrade its existing fleet to those standard.
