the ETH staking yield means that borrowing RAI against pure ETH will always have some % opportunity cost

the RAI redemption rate should almost always be negative to reflect this opportunity cost

decentralization is expensive, people don't want to pay Image I tried to do some casual interest rate manipulation, to set the redemption positive for once

instead I end up serving as exit liquidity for @VitalikButerin

even V knows that RAI rates should be negative, and arbed me to make it so

What can happen in 2023: 1. ETH will hit $5,000, on its way to $20,000 in 2024

2. The top 5 ETH L2s all join $UNI in flipping $SOL

3. ETH will be accepted as legal tender in more countries than BTC. At least one country will announce that it is staking ETH.

yea so Nikolai is still FUCKING DEAD

my money is on him being murdered

he was found drowned 4 hours after his riskiest tweet ever

he had all year to drown randomly or be mugged, so it seems unlikely that his death was unrelated to his tweet... A unique thing that I know is that Nikolai mentioned that his gf was into girls

this makes his "my gf was a spy who planted a laptop" story somewhat more convincing

I think the most likely story is that he was caught up in a sex trafficking blackmail scheme and figured it out
