Yesterday on the Senate floor, I told the story of an #ImmigrantHealthHero on the frontlines treating COVID-19 patients at Mayo Clinic. While she's saving lives, she's worried she won't be able to stay here to do her work while filling out paperwork to prove she’s “worth keeping" President Franklin D. Roosevelt once said, “Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the assessment that something else is more important than fear.” These doctors are choosing service over fear. Saving lives, saving someone’s grandma is more important to them than fear.

27 counties. 4 days.

COUNTY 1 on our #ForAllOfAmerica bus tour: Henry County, Iowa! Sharing my message from last night’s debate: what unites us is far stronger than what divides us and we must beat Donald Trump in 2020. Image COUNTY 2: In 2012, Jefferson County voted for President Obama to serve a second term.

In 2016, they flipped and voted for Donald Trump.

I'm here today making my case in 2020: we can and will win in rural America. #ForAllofAmerica Image

The Trump Administration supports totally undoing the Affordable Care Act.

I’m headed to the Senate floor to read the letters of 100 families from across the country who would suffer if these protections went away. Because of the Affordable Care Act, Delaney is able to get mammogram screenings to see if she carries the same genetic trait that several of her relatives have.

Families across the country sit around the kitchen table making tough choices about their household budgets. The American people expect their President to do the same. So, let’s talk about the President’s budget proposal... (1/) To fulfill a campaign promise, he’s asked for $8.6 billion for his wall. Didn’t work last year, isn’t going to work this year. (2/)

The pharmaceutical manufacturing industry has a lot of influence in Washington. At the same time, prices for four of the nation's top 10 drugs have increased more than 100 percent. #enough Enough. 92% of Americans support allowing the federal government to negotiate prescription drug prices for seniors on Medicare Part D. We need to act on my bill (33 cosponsors so far!) to make it happen.
