This morning, @nycforabortion led a clinic defense action and abortion rights protest in Manhattan. The goal was to prevent a group of far-right Catholics from marching to a clinic where they harass patients. The day started with a moving picket in front of the church.

Hundreds of people carried signs and chanted on the sidewalk and the street, preparing to use their bodies to prevent the anti-choice extremists from reaching the clinic.

When right-wing zionists complain that people don’t show solidarity against antisemitism, maybe it’s because these supposed protests against antisemitism are obviously thinly veiled pro-Israel rallies. Right-wing zionists undermine the fight against antisemitism by doing this.
This particular event was happy to invite and welcome right-wing racists, as long as they supported Israel. But Jews who support a democratic binational state are banned. Building a coalition with right-wing extremists is not actually an effective way to fight antisemitism.
