This is a long shot but there's a community youth center opening in Jackson, Mississippi. They have a few basketball courts, but they are hoping an NBA or WNBA team could donate an additional court. Kids in Jackson have so little as it is, and this is so needed. Anyone can help?
For the record, I've paid for two courts already along with other equipment and building repairs before anyone hits me with the, "Why don't you-isms."

Excited to announce that I'll be doing a virtual tour for Concrete Rose in January. I'll get a chance to talk all things Maverick with some of my favorite people, including @russellhornsby, who did a phenomenal performance in The Hate U Give, and Dion Graham, the audiobook actor.
For my first event, I'll be in convo with the better half of Nangie, @getnicced, in conjunction with @MahoganyBooks on January 12th at 7pm Et. Head to the link below to register.
You know what, a question for all of the aspiring authors out there.
Do you know how to get traditionally published? Do you know what a literary agent is? A query letter?
I ask because I get so many messages from people who don't seem to know these things.
There is so much mystery when it comes to publishing. People genuinely don't know how it works and don't know that it's more accessible than it seems.

Waiting for the reality show where 10 stressed-out kidlit authors on deadline are thrown into a house and must finish their books while surviving one another. Guaranteed drama. I mean the second that house runs out of coffee or tea...
Each week, there would be a reward up for grabs - a deadline extension.
