Spent 7 hours in the A&E (crowded waiting room) last night on the advice of my GP who thought I had a rare reaction to an iron infusion I had 2 weeks ago. I told the staff what the GP suspected. They took some bloods, did an ECG because my blood pressure was vacillating and told me at 3am they couldn’t find anything so I should go home. This morning I get a frantic call from my GP telling me to go to A&E for a potassium infusion immediately because my pathology results were life threateningly low. Now I’m waiting in the same hospital, waiting to see if they give me the treatment I need and, because I’m a mere public health patient, feeling like I’m playing Russian Roulette. Finally admitted to short stay where I will be having a potassium infusion overnight. Feel like crap.
Lucky my older kids can look after the younger ones. Thankyou to everyone for your empathy and concern. I hate being sick and feeling vulnerable like this.

Liberal leader @JohnPesutto MP has defamed me by calling me “homophobic” based on one tweet which was to an ‘antifascist’ who attempted to assault me on Saturday (hitting another marshall instead) who considers “adult babies” men who eroticise infancy a legitimate sexuality .. in which I elude to him being a pedophile. I asked him why he didn’t oppose “paedo filth” (paraphrasing the language they used) and Nazis & Women did? This has been misconstrued as a reason for @MoiraDeemingMP to be cast out from the @LiberalVictoria. A quick look at my tweets or

1/ As an organiser of #LetWomenSpeakMelbourne which is entangled by false association in the leading news story in Australia at the moment I would like to go on the record as saying that not one journalist has contacted us to ask who we are or what we are about… 2/ Nor have they watched our live stream or spoken to any of the women who spoke at our event. Or even anyone who attended our event. Suspiciously no footage or photos of our peaceful event have appeared in the media.
