Delphi turns 6 this month. Incredibly fortunate to be able to build it with my best friends.
Grateful for everyone who’s been a part of the journey. Couldn’t be prouder of the team we have and what we’re working on.
Taking some time to reflect on the journey below:
First up, Delphi Research. What we started with and has embedded itself into the DNA of everything we do at Delphi.
When we first started in 2018, there were months where we couldn’t find something interesting to write about. Years later, this is obviously no longer a problem. In fact, it’s the opposite. Nowadays, there’s more noise than ever and we believe having a team of 20+ analysts in the trenches constantly searching for alpha and deep insights is the most important it’s been. It’s been promising to see our research being digested and discussed not just by investors, but builders as well. I think our research is the best it’s ever been and haven’t felt this confident in the team since we started.
On the other side of the business, Delphi Consulting is busier than ever as teams look for more unique and interesting ways to come to market. Crypto native teams are still our favorites to work with, but have some interesting web2 engagements that I think have a lot of potential to shake up the space. A lot of what we’ve worked on in the past twelve months will be coming to market at the end of this year and it’s been such a pleasure being able to work side by side with some of the smartest teams in crypto.
Hung out with some of my normie friends this past weekend and got some insight into how they're navigating crypto so far this year
Mostly listened to what they had to say and wanted to share it with CT
Important to note, these friends are bit deeper into the space than your average normie
They were around last cycle and got into $SOL early last year after reading @ceterispar1bus 's report
I got married last month, and spent the furthest time away from work during that period and the honeymoon
Unplugging while we broke ATHs really helped me reflect on what I’ve learned up until this milestone and what’s important to me in life
I wanted to share this publicly mostly to document my thoughts. I hope it’s helpful but it’s not intended to be life advice or anything like that. Just my own musings which include some stories, quotes, and pictures here and there.
Had some great discussions with my now wife about what’s worked well for us up to this point as well as what went wrong along the way and what we learned from it.
Both are important. Ultimately, I wanted to share 10 frameworks that I’ve decided have made me the man I am today and I hope will continue to guide me to becoming a better man in the years to come.

Ahead of the $YGG launch tmrw, I highly recommend everyone take time to learn more about what @YieldGuild is building and what its long-term vision is
This isn’t something just to ape into and hope it goes up, its future will be dependent on the community that develops around it
First, full disclosure: @Delphi_Digital led Yield Guild’s seed round and is actively involved in its design along with @gabusch@berylchavezli@OwlOfMoistness and the rest of the YGG team
0/ Crypto is going mainstream. Critics often scoff at it ever having any positive impact on the world long-term.
I'm excited to finally have a doc we can share with skeptics to show how play-to-earn gaming and NFTs are already changing people's lives. 1/ This @playtoearn documentary wouldn’t have been possible without the great teams at @AxieInfinity@Delphi_Digital@YieldGuild and especially @emfarsis

0/ I often find that the best way to get a sneak peak at the future of ETH is to pay attention to the hackathons.
This past month, @ETHGlobal put on #ETHOnline. As part of the summit, a hackathon with ~$100K in prizes started on 10/2 and ended today. delphidigital.io/reports/a-snea…1/ Participation was incredible. 700 hackers submitted over 175 projects.
Out of the 175, the summit's judges picked 12 finalists who presented today (see tweet thread attached).
0/ While yield farming’s core intent is to foster the growth of a community, a lot of the liq. mining programs we’ve seen in action have led to the opposite.
In my recent Delphi Daily, I share my thoughts on whether or not vested rewards can fix this. delphidigital.io/reports/do-ves…1/ Significant inflation without vesting hasn’t worked great so far.
Take a look at @CurveFinance which currently has insane inflation (~2M released per day), and no vesting which leads to dumping. Not to mention, @yearnfinance vaults farm and dump it immediately for .

0/ The importance of yETH and YFI cannot be understated.
In a recent Delphi Daily, I take a look at what yETH's impact on the space is and why it perfectly demonstrates how powerful YFI truly is. (thread below)
yVaults are essentially token containers which then use those tokens to farm based on optimum strategies available to generate the highest-APY yield for the tokens deposited.
