This is the exact reason why I took up translation works.

One peculiarity I observed in Telugu people is something that's gonna haunt me for life - online and offline.
They'd hum and sing HKS and Tamizh paasurams like I recite Sanskrutam. No idea what it means but I want my Punya dammit!
Peculiar why? THEY NEVER EVER SING TELUGU SONGS.

HKS is my paramarthika saadhana. Really glad to be studying what is considered Sudha-Chandrika-ParimaLa saara.
HKS transliteration & translation process has made me learn new tools in my own profession and you bet I am gonna put that on my resume. HKS website is unknown territory for me. I've never built any full fledged website ever. Sure, worked on a few. A couple of single page apps here and there but never a full website. I am gonna learn every tiny part of my job, thanks to SHVG.

Confused? So was I, until it was explained to me.
Unbeknownst to me, my parents started scouting girls. They know my preferences and how I think. My mother is contacting every aunty in her vicinity and every girl she knows interested in HKS. My father is doing all kinds of japa, tapa, vrata and homa to get a bride for me.
In this juncture, a girl's parents rang up my parents' numbers. The girl is apparently decent looking (I didn't even see her) and kundli with kuja dosha (not a problem!).
They enquired about me.

1. Why in the world did they make Sri Rama fight against dementors from HP? Seriously! Ramayana is full of epic battles. Starting from Taatakaa which was a moral dilemma, to battle with Khara, Dushana, Trisheersha which was a battle of timing to final confrontation with Ravana which is a battle of strategy. Yet! Prabhas fights with dementors. 🤦‍♂️

I want to tell you about the process. Here's a glimpse of the transliteration module. I pick the chapter and page to be transliteration and open up the OCR version of it. Sometimes skewed page transliterates well, sometimes deskewing works. It's awesome. It does about 40% work. 40% because often it gets confused in ottakshara and sanskruta pada in kannada. This tool is 10x powerful than vietOCR. vietOCR crapped the bed multiple times.
I adjust the spacing and other minor issues and then I fix the missing word issues. That completes the transliteration.

One verse of HKS per day
