In 2019 Zamfara St Government Set up a Committee to investigate the immediate and remote factors responsible for the unprecedented killings in the state under the leadership of a fmr Police IG MD Abubakar, submitted oct 2019, a thread (long) of the findings and recommendations. And rustling, the state is bothered with Sokoto by east where there are atleast 5 prominent groups, in the south with Katsina where the groups are mostly kids & unorganizeds maybe numbering upto a thousand, in the North with Kaduna and Niger where Dogo Gide, Ali Kachalla, Nagalla

Zamfara needs individuals and organisations to facilitate independent dialogues, mediations, communications and understanding amongst communities. People and properties are being lost uncontrollably and the government is mostly consoling, condemning and warning. Already a good number of communities are paying allegiance to different armed groups for safety. Many of them no longer need the military, police or vigilante groups for safety, these communities are figuring out how to leave under the control and safety of certain bandit leaders

The claim by Shekau and his Boko Haram for the abduction of #KankaraStudents is untrue and clear terrorists propaganda to instill fear and hopelessness in parents.
The abduction was led by Adamun Daudawa alongside Nashamuwa, Alhaji Auta, Na-Bajjallah, Dankarmi and one Auwalu... While I do not dispute efforts by Boko Haram factions to formalize relations and camps in the NW particularly Zamfara and Katsina, all of the above groups are notorious and shadow players except Dankarami and none of the groups is affiliated to either of any BokoHaram Factions.

Alhaji Adamu Alero has been declared wanted by the Kastina State Police Command Dead or Alive with a bounty of 5Million Naira.
Now this is why Zamfara and Katsina can not have two different approach to a particular conflict at a time. Alero is from Zamfara and to the Zamfara Government he has repented months ago, infact he has even eliminated a few non repentants according to reports.
