Hi. A couple of months ago I took a rest from this place. I seriously considered deleting my account entirely, because it's getting very difficult to avoid being viciously attacked for the slightest opinion on the subject of trans people. 1/ However, I think it still has some value, as a method of communication with fans of Hollyoaks, my online friends, and other professional people. So I've taken a difficult but necessary decision. 2/

I have no problem with detransitioned trans people who have changed their mind on the journey for personal reasons. I do take issue to those who attempt to weaponise their experience in order to hurt other trans people as a kind of revenge for their own mistakes. 1/ In the UK, transitioning takes a LONG time, often a great deal of money, and the process is explained time and again... as are the consequences. It's a long series of consultations, hesitant steps forward and many, MANY chances to back out. 2/
