I always find it interesting that everyone's answer to 'vegetarian food is bad' is Indian food. The majority of Indians are not vegetarian. The majority of the food consumed in India is vegetarian and that's because of a host of factors, including necessity and availability.
I support sustainable food practices for sure, but making sweeping generalizations about a culture or cuisine can be harmful for all the various communities, especially given the religious/political context at the moment.
