The script isn't the movie. The movie is the movie. The screenplay is the idea of what the movie could be, but ... it's also the bible for the story. Its structure. Its themes. & vitally the characters that bring that story & theme to life.
The process of filmmaking is interpretation. Whether you like it or not, the ideas you've put down on the page will have to be interpreted by hundreds of talented and skilled professionals (whose job is to make the movie) real before it becomes a movie.
