I’ve been on private Democratic activist Email lists where Jews were assailed because they were allegedly white and privileged — this was long before October 7. LGBT groups like The Task Force have long had an anti-Semitism problem, and were called out on it years ago on it. 2/

So now the added colors to the rainbow flag have taken over nearly half the flag, and they’ve added yellow and… wait for it.. a circle! Circles are now queer, apparently. Who knew? These people took a great symbol of our community, and destroyed it. 1/ The whole point behind the rainbow flag is that the rainbow represents all colors. The individual colors did not represent anyone in the particular — there are no purple, green, blue, orange or red members of our community (and I find yellow a bit racist, but whatever). 2/

1. France votes on Sunday, a day off. America votes on Tuesday, when only white collar voters get off. GOP would never allow that, since it permits more blue collar voters (often minorities) to vote.

I have a problem, and need your help amplifying it. @stripe appears to have shadow-banned me for a few years now. No business that uses Stripe to facilitate their payments can accept ANY of my credit or debit cards, even though I have an 800 credit rating. 1/ The same cards work everywhere else, online and off. Only with Stripe sites am I banned. Only recently did I figure out that Stripe was the problem, when my cards were all declined on a merchant's site that specifically told me that there was "a Stripe error." 2/

For everyone saying that Republicans are now freaking out about Covid because it’s killing their base — they knew it was killing their base a year ago. They didn’t care. Something happened in the last week that scared the hell out of them. I want to know what. And the fact that Scalise suddenly got vaccinated means it’s not simply polling data, fear of losing the House, or even fear of lots of constituents dying. The fear is far more personal if Scalise ran to get a vaccine just this past weekend. Someone told them the sky is falling.

Another case in point. AOC was just on my TV doing interviews trying to pressure Joe Manchin to be more progressive. What impact do you think the figurehead for the socialist left in Congress will have on a Senator from a deep-red state? Her criticism will help him dig in. The last person we need weighing in to influence Manchin, a senator from a deep-red Trump state, is AOC. So why is she doing it? Surely, she knows that she and her movement not only have zero influence on Manchin, but that her voice is actually counterproductive. Then why do it?

The US occasionally does bad things. Hamas is a terrorist organization. A US member of Congress, who stands for a lot of issues that Hamas couldn’t care less about, should understand the difference. Ilhan Omar is not just equating us with terrorists, she’s normalizing terrorists.
