The most heartbreaking part of the pandemic to date was when my 8 yo burst into tears after I got the vaccine in January and said “you aren’t going to die from going to work!”
I didn’t realize how much he had internalized & was holding it in
It’s been 7 months & here we are again. In a surge. With a variant that is more transmissible. I have several colleagues who have tested + in recent weeks despite vaccines, thankfully they are not super sick.
Everyone we are seeing who is super sick is UNVACCINATED.

What is Palliative vs Hospice?
Pal Care & Hospice clinicians helps patients who have life limiting diagnosis - end stage heart, lung, kidney, liver failure, metastatic cancer or progressive Neuro dz like dementia, Parkinson’s, MS, ALS or severe strokes.
2/ the difference between Palliative & Hospice is that the patients still under Pal Care are in a disease modifying stage of their illness - meaning the train has left the building but we can still intervene to change the path their dz takes
