- Abadigga fled Ethiopia in 2004 to South Africa. He allegedly faced persecution in his own country.🧵1/

1. Key witness Jacob Nare, is not really Jacob Nare. In fact, the real Nare's identity was allegedly "stolen" by this imposter in 2010 with the help of police crime intelligence. The real Nare was murdered in 2014 in a bizarre knife attack. 2/

A driver eagre to evade metro police officers in Milnerton, Cape Town on Monday afternoon was apprehended for reckless and negligent driving. Here the officers try to get the driver to get out of his vehicle, but he had other plans. @TimesLIVE According City of Cape Town Executive Director for Safety and Security Richard Bosman, "The driver went through a red light and when Metro Police officers tried to stop him, he drove into their vehicle causing damage."

On 13 October Mtila as defacto overlord of the Boko Harram gang, allegedly carried out his penultimate cash-in-transit robbery. Sources say he sustained a head wound in a shootout with security guards. Some friends believe he was killed by a fellow robber.
