Molekul: Terdiri daripada dua unsur atau lebih atom bukan logam yang sama atau berlainan terikat secara kovalen

Contoh: So4 , Sulfur dioksida Ion ; Zarah yang bercas positif / negatif yang terdiri daripada logam dan bukan logam yang terikat secara ikatan ion

Contoh : ZnCl2 , Zink Klorida
