Had a 20-minute walk down Market Street with a friend who remarked, "I've never seen anything like this," as his head was on a swivel the entire time. I love SF. What the city has become is unconscionable. Several pockets of 20 to 30 people all off their heads. A number of them with pants barely on. Zombies. The walking dead. I obviously get that some people are upset about @elonmusk's recent comments regarding Ukraine. But the DoD complaining about paying for Starlink strikes me as nuts. The DoD has been salivating over the idea of "responsive space" for decades The DoD helped fund the Falcon 1 on the hopes that a company would come along that could chuck a rocket and then satellite into orbit on a moment's notice during a war.
