75% of vaccines will be donated through COVAX

NEW: President Biden announces total contribution of 80 million vaccines US has will go to help countries around the globe.

This includes 20 million newly announced vaccines from Pfizer, Moderna & J&J by the end of June. The U.S. will have contributed 5x more vaccines than any other nation.

NEW: President Biden announces early achievement of 200 million shots. We were on pace not to reach this until September when we got here.

Tens of thousands of lives saved so far.

Now we must reach everyone 16 and over. More than 50% of Americans and 80% of seniors have received their first shots.

This was 5% and 8% when Biden and Harris arrived.

And 80% of educators and school staff are vaccinated.

BREAKING: President Biden announces that by April 19, 90%+ of Americans over 16 will be eligible for a vaccine and live within 5 miles of a place to get a vaccination.

And 33 million vaccines available in the coming week. Per the president's orders, vaccines will be available in 40,000 pharmacies AND announces new transportation and other assistance to seniors and Americans with disabilities.
