1) The hanja characters for "goeraeman" mean "something strange coming in the night" so some people think it means you have to act out being super drunk in a cartoonish way. (being unable to walk in a straight line, singing loudly, etc)

Now that #TokyoOlympics is underway, let's talk about Olympic medalists Sohn Kee-chung (손기정) and Nam Sung-yong (남승룡) - who were forced to compete under the Japanese flag during the 1936 Olympics. #Tokyo2020
As you may know, Japan was an imperial power during WWII and colonized Korea (as well as many other countries). Sohn Kee-chung and Nam Sung-yong were ethnic Koreans who were forced to change their names to Son Kitei and Nan Shoryu so they could compete as "Japanese" athletes.

If you’re Japanese/of Japanese-descent and you make an entire thread calling a Korean artist “nasty” in defense of the Rising Sun flag, I’m just gonna assume you’re not a good person who doesn’t actually care about your country’s war crimes.
Yeah, I’m subtweeting but I’m mad that I had to see this on my TL. Describing imperial Japan’s actions as “stupid” and not idk “horrifying” or “terrible” or “a flagrant violation of human rights” already trlls me that you’re on that apologism juice.
