If you use intraoperative sequential compression devices, you use the for surgeries maybe depending on the estimated length of surgery, but you know, if unexpectedly the surgery lasts a lot longer. this maybe is a hard one! 77yo male pt, 6month post lumbar fusion L1/4, suddenly feeling very very miserable. Max pain - can you tell me why? How often do you see this?
