Black people have literally and figuratively been cleaning up America’s shit for 400 years. We are always the ones laying our bodies on the line to force the US to live up to its promise. We have done our part. We are tired. White folks, get your cousins. Y’all fix this mess. Start with everybody you know who was okay with Trump’s racism and/or okay with every Republican who was okay with Trump’s racism b/c of the economy. The inherent sickness in that—profit over life—start there.

She is almost singlehandedly responsible for the wrongful incarceration of the Central Park Five. 1/ For which she has never apologized or recanted her insistence on their guilt for the most heinous of crimes, “guilt” based solely on evidence procured through violence and ill treatment of children in lock up. 2/
