Thread (1)...Growing up my autistic son never got invited to parties didn't receive cards, family would ring and say you can come but your son can't, as the years passed family and freinds stopped visiting stopped calling,no cards or presents or birthday invitations...... (2) when he reached 21 he received only 3 cards one was from our dog, as a parent I felt like I had failed, this was me ,my fault, so I joined Twitter and did a appeal for cards the first year 300 the second nearly a thousand......
