I was talking to my very talented friend who is applying for business schools in the US.
She said “what if I don’t get in? What if the effort is not worth it?”
“Will I have wasted so many months? What will I have to show for it”

If BSchool is not treated as a placement office, you can learn a lot.
I learnt to enjoy economics, game theory, consumer behaviour, and finance all because of a great BSchool experience.
It's "disruptive" to write off the MBA as a waste but it can be transformative if used well
Philosophically, education should be free, although ironically some teachings are "priceless"
People try to "map" the cost of an MBA to the "job" they get. Truly measuring RoI for your education is fuzzy.
You never know where your learning might help you.
