15th Aug 1947 brought freedom to people of India but not to 1.76 crore people living in Nizam’s Hyderabad. Nizam claimed independent sovereignty a week later. #HydLiberationDay happened a year later The Majlis which had celebrated Independence day on 27th July itself, started addressing the Nizam as ‘Your majesty’. Today's AIMIM headed by the Owaisi brothers is a continuation of that legacy. #HydLiberationDay
